Marjorie holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Versailles-Saint Quentin en Yvelines (France) and the University of Nottingham (England) – Erasmus European program, a DEA in English and North American Business Law from the University of Paris-I Panthéon Sorbonne (France), and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham (England).
Marjorie began her professional career in 2003 as a student intern at Clifford Chance in Paris, then joined Arendt & Medernach in 2005, and later Baker & McKenzie in Luxembourg in 2011 in the Corporate/M&A departments.
She joined the insurance sector in Luxembourg in 2014 as a Legal Counsel- Vice President at Swiss Re, where she was seconded to Paris (France) and Cape Town (South Africa), and later joined USAA as Head of Legal Europe in Luxembourg in 2018.
Marjorie founded her own law firm Binet Legal in 2019 specialized in corporate and commercial law, business, civil, and commercial litigation, insolvency proceedings, and (re)insurance regulation.
